Preparing for the questions to ensure interview success

One of the few things I learnt from my job hunting this time round is to thoroughly prepare for the interviews. I got a little confident in the beginning, didn't really think about what I should say and what they might ask and so on the day of the interview, I end up being nervous and ended up not being able to present my confident self to the employers.
I am ok with questions with facts such as "Why did you leave your last job" and "Why do you want to be in this industry" however it's the probing questions that most people have trouble with:
"Tell me about an experience you've had that required delicate attention and how you've overcome it"
or something more abstract like:
"What animal would you like to be for a day and why"
It helps to write down all possible questions and prepare answers for them, ask a friend or two who recently have been to job interviews or work in the recruitment field and ask them what they have been asked, you'll find most employers in similar industries usually use the same method and ask very similar questions, so knowing your answers beforehand can certainly boost that confidence on the day.
