Ok, I am not earning money sniffing odours. But people do. There are plenty of those whose job is to do the odd things here and there to make sure products and services are catered for real human standards.
These, are the odd jobs of the world. CareerBuilder.com has compiled a list of 20 Odd Jobs to keep us the 'normal' jobbers amused.
Actually, here is a real life story. A friend of my friend's job, is to find porn on the web. No Kidding. Working for Google, his job is to search for porn websites, have a look at its contents and... rate them. Yep. Google is adding this human touch to ensure their loved Page Ranking system is not abused by some automated generated hit counts, and having someone REAL to do the ranking for them is the only way.
Imagine that. "Excuse me sir - what do you do for a living?"
"Er.. I... look at porn."
I bet a lot of you out there are already on the look out for the next vacancy available for this position!
