Worried about the credit crunch?

December 8th 2008 08:23
The papers are all over it, and we are all worried. The truth is, the credit crunch is not breakfast cereal but it's not the last supper either. There are still options out there for those who unfortunately have been affected.

Although many businesses are cutting cost by cutting head count, it isn't the end of the world for most of us. A quick search on a job search engine in all field of profession shows that there are still many vacancies to be filled. According to the online job search engine CareerOne, jobs in engineering, travel and tourism and parts of IT still shows a strong hold on employment during this economic down time. Also, there are still more opportunities overseas as well for those who wish to venture. Reports are saying that more and more Australian ex-pats are coming home from Britain due to the bad economy, however The Times paper in the UK are urging Australians to stay to help boost the economy, so, obviously there are still some great opportunities to be found.

All the world is a stage and this bad economy is worldwide so we are all in the same boat. You really need to believe it will get better and eventually it will!
